I am Ali Atiah Alzahrani, an AI researcher with a background in Electrical Engineering and notable achievements in data science, machine learning, and AI, particularly within market trading and quantitative finance. My entrepreneurial spirit led me to co-found ventures like Sparsfolio, leveraging AI to revolutionize trading strategies. With credentials from the Stanford AI Graduate Program, my expertise spans Data Science, Machine Learning, and Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL). I've significantly contributed to the financial sector by developing AI-driven risk assessment tools for leading banks in Saudi Arabia.
Currently, I am a Senior Associate - AI and Data Science at PIF, focusing on developing data science and financial mathematical models. My passion lies in advancing Data Science, Machine Learning, and DRL, dedicated to enhancing models and their innovative applications across industries. Beyond technology, I am a mixed media artist with award-winning pieces, reflecting my creative exploration. My love for art is paralleled by my enthusiasm for travel, having journeyed to over 50 countries, each visit broadening my perspective and inspiring my work.
Education:
I hold an MSc in Electrical Engineering from KAUST, graduating with distinction. Previously, I completed my BSc in Electrical Engineering at KFUPM, achieving first-class honors with a GPA of 3.8/4 and a major GPA of 3.96/4. Additionally, I have completed the Stanford AI Graduate Program, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Deep Reinforcement Learning.
